Who is she?

My first camera was a Hello Kitty one. I got it on Christmas, either 2008 or 2009, and I absolutely loved it (I still have it ehehehe). I remember spending the whole night taking pictures of my family and, looking back, I'm glad I did. Every single time I look at them, I feel like I went back in time and I'm reliving that magical Christmas night. That's the power of photography. It gives us the opportunity of stopping time in a way. Of capturing it and having it to be relived our whole lives, and the ones that come after us. Because I got that Hello Kitty camera, I can now show my future kids the faces that made my Christmas nights so unforgettable.

After that camera, several others, throughout the year followed. I kept the proud title of photographer of family events for years. I kept consuming old family albums that my parents and grandparents had scattered through the house. I kept breathing through lenses, both mine and other people's.

Honestly speaking? It was always a hobby. I never looked at it as being something that I could even dream of doing. It always felt like something so out of reach, that I never even tried taking a step towards it. Until this one day where someone pointed toward the photography path and said "What if this could be an option?" - and everything changed for me.

I've been working as a photographer since 2023. It's a constant learning and development process, and I fall in love with it every single day. Being chosen to be present in some of the most important days of your lives, to be able to capture such unique moments in time, to create those albums that, hopefully, one day your kids and grandchildren will look for as well, is what truly fulfills me.

I believe that the way I feel about photography and the weight it carries on my life have a direct relationship with my work, on how I connect with everyone I cross paths with and how I choose to capture the true essence of each and every single one of them.
